Creating and Hosting a Website Anonymously on the Clearnet: A Guide

5

Creating and hosting a website anonymously on the clearnet can be a tricky process, but it is possible. Clearnet is the public internet, and it is the most common way to access websites. However, it is also the least secure way to host a website, as it is easy to trace the IP address of the server hosting the website.

If you want to create and host a website anonymously on the clearnet, there are a few steps you need to take. First, you need to find a web hosting provider that offers anonymous hosting. This means that the hosting provider will not ask for any personal information, such as your name or address. You should also make sure that the hosting provider offers secure servers, as this will help protect your website from hackers.

Once you have found a hosting provider, you need to register a domain name. This is the name of your website, and it should be unique and memorable. You should also make sure that the domain name is not associated with any other websites, as this could lead to confusion.

Once you have registered your domain name, you need to set up your website. This involves creating the content for your website, such as text, images, and videos. You should also make sure that your website is secure, as this will help protect it from hackers.

Finally, you need to upload your website to the hosting provider. This is the final step in creating and hosting a website anonymously on the clearnet. Once your website is uploaded, it will be accessible to anyone who visits it.

Creating and hosting a website anonymously on the clearnet is not an easy process, but it is possible. By following the steps outlined above, you can create and host a website anonymously on the clearnet. This will help protect your website from hackers and ensure that your website remains anonymous.

  2. Highly discourage you from trying to host anything on the DW without some general IT knowledge first. You’re inviting your website / yourself to get hacked.

Additionally, a lot of content on the DW is self hosted with owner owned server machines. Looking around for hosting on the DW (admittedly, haven’t taken that much of a look into this), again, is likely to invite yourself into getting scammed / hacked / honeypotted.

If you want a way to anonymously post and communicate, encrypted chat channels are available and can be created without too much hassle without the DW. If you’re looking to host illegal content that would be removed / have you arrested if posted on the clearnet, then you have bigger problems to deal with…such as posting about it on reddit
