Go to mempool.space and copy your transaction ID into the search. Blocks are still every 10 minutes but you’ve got to pay the proper fee to be in the next one. Otherwise you wait your turn.
transactions don’t finish, they just get confirmations (block that includes it + number of blocks on top of that one), each one makes it more costly to undo
