If you are confident your existing seed is safe, then just import it into the Trezor. I don’t see what you gain by creating a new seed and performing a new transaction. Now you have 2 hardware wallets with access to the same funds. Good to have a backup device.
I am going to throw this out there. I would suggest a new seed phrase and add your own pass phrase for added security. This would be a great time for that.
