I’m new to the world of cryptocurrency and I’m trying to figure out what to do with my Bitcoin. My gut instinct tells me to use it, not sell it. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this same feeling and what their experience has been. Has anyone used Bitcoin to purchase goods or services? What was the process like? Are there any tips or tricks you can share? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
You’ve been holding for how long ?
Have you considered that holding Bitcoin IS using Bitcoin?
Using bitcoin in that way is kind of how it was intended i think. As cash, as a way to buy things
I never sell my bitcoin, but I do use it to buy giftcards every now and then on bitrefill. I find it fun to spend new, real money and I wish fiat was a thing of the past.
I want to hold forever but I can’t.. I have to sell because I can’t take my regular life any more. I’m done. I’m going to take the cash and get out and start something new. Not that it won’t make difference with what I got, but my hope is that it’ll go up to 40k and that’ll let me start over in another city
That’s what Satoshi intended!
Why not both? Spend and replace. Keep holding but also support businesses that accept it. Without widespread use the price can only go so far.
My gut tells me I need more bitcoin.
What’s the difference if you buy “stuff” or buy fiat with it? They are both just trading bitcoin for something else
“…I just want to hold until I find a use case…” That is what you do with money. Bitcoin is money.
